Glenda Mccleery

Glenda S.McCleery, 63 of Pekin, IL passed away at 7:15pm Monday, November 21 2016 at her residence. She was born September 28 1953 in Peoria, IL to Raymond and Jessie Huffhines. She married Michael E McCleery on May 20 1986 in Pekin, IL. Surviving are her husband Michael of Pekin, Four daughters Kindra (Steve) Thornhill of Washington, Kelly Huffman of Chillicothe, Dusty (Marty Donath) McCleery of Pekin, and Corrie McCleery of Washington. One Sister Joanne Huffhines (Jim Capes) of East Peoria, and One Brother Ray (Jeannie) Huffhines of Washington. Six Grandchildren, Kaila, Koby, Jordyn, Dakota, Londynn, Sailor, and One Great Grand Daughter Maddie, along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Glenda worked several years as a bus driver for East Peoria high school, and 23 years at FedEx Express as a semi-truck driver in Peoria and also in Tulsa Oklahoma. She retired on September 28 2012. Glenda loved being outside working in her yard and spending time with her dogs Muffy and Pixie. She also enjoyed working on her crafts and paintings, and spending time with her grandkids. She attended Elevate Church in Morton, IL Per Glenda's Request there will be no services or visitation, cremation rights have been accorded.
