Geraldine R. Kenyon

Geraldine Kenyon, 82, of Germantown Hills, IL passed away at 1:15 pm on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Heartland Health Care in Peoria. She was born on February 7, 1935 in Woodford County, IL to Joseph and Amanda (Winkler) Durst. She married Lawrence E. Kenyon on November 15, 1952 in Springfield, IL. He passed away on November 16, 2015. Surviving are her children Cindy (David) Nuest and Randy (Evelyn) Kenyon both of Germantown Hills, Stephanie (John) Hinken of Washington, and Troy (Julie) Kenyon of Eureka; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sister Evelyn Westefer of Chillicothe. She was preceded in death by one grandson, six brothers, and two sisters. Geraldine attended Highview Christian Church in Washington. Cremation rites have been accorded. No services will be held.
