George T. Cunningham, 93, of Washington, IL, passed from this life at 2:25 pm on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Washington Senior Living.

He was born on September 11, 1929, in Peoria, IL, to George H. and Hazel I. (Odell) Cunningham. He married Loretta A. Vaughn on March 26, 1949.

Surviving is his daughter, Christine (Jay) Johnson of Idaho and his son Stephen (Brenda) Cunningham of Tennessee.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and best friend of 76 years, Loretta, and also by his son, Kenneth Cunningham.

A private graveside service will be held at Glendale Cemetery in Washington, IL.  Pastor Jack Brown will officiate.
