Frederick E. Glueck Jr.

With heavy hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of Frederick E. Glueck Jr. on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at the age of 56. He was born on July 22, 1969, in Peoria, IL, the son of Fred and Diana Glueck. Freddie grew up in Metamora and attended Metamora Township High School. He was employed as a Manufacturing Engineer in Tool Design with Caterpillar since 2004.

He lived an adventurous life with his passion for Motocross. Whether he was riding, watching races, or talking about bikes, it was something that brought him complete joy. The track was one of the places where he felt most alive, and it became a defining part of who he was. The camaraderie of the Motocross community quickly became like family to him.

Beyond his love for racing, he found peace in nature and had a strong love for animals. Freddie loved his beloved boxers, Neeka and Keenan. They were always by his side, true companions through every chapter of his life. Freddie loved giving back to his community. You could always count on him for a helping hand. His acts of kindness left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

He leaves behind a brother, Ralph (Jeanette) Glueck, nieces and nephews Blake, Riley, Jeanai, and Jaleigh Glueck, and many cousins and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.

A Celebration of Life to honor and remember Freddie will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution can be made to PAMBA (Peoria Area Mountain Bike Association).

Freddie will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His spirit, passion, and the memories he created will live on in all who knew and loved him.
