Frank J. LaRue, 78, of Metamora, formerly of Michigan, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Snyder Village in Metamora. He was born on October 25, 1937 in Elberta, MI to Ralph and Christine (Peterson) LaRue. He is survived by his three children, Charles (Irene) LaRue of Grand Rapids, MI, Ellen (Eric) Wall of Germantown Hills, IL, and Peter LaRue of New Mexico; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Frank had been in the Naval Reserves. We were blessed to have him move here to Central Illinois in September, 2010 where both of his sons came to visit him.
