Faye was born on May 24th, 1958, in Pekin, IL, to Vern and Mary Schertz. She married Michael Ludden in 1978, and they had two daughters together, Vanessa (Ludden) Mogler and Veronica (Ludden) Saladino. In 1992, Faye married Jerry Goggil, and they were together until his passing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael Ludden and Jerry Goggil. Faye is survived by her two daughters; Vanessa Mogler of Gridley, IL, Veronica Saladino of Gulfport, FL, three grandchildren; Ezekiel Harper of Eureka, IL, Rebekah Harper of Peoria Heights, IL, Kendrick Mogler of Gridley, IL, one great grandchild Sapphire Ames of Peoria Heights, IL, one sister; Sue Ann Walker of Tremont, IL, and two nieces; Jenna Walker of Tremont, IL, and Amber Walker of Pekin, IL.

Growing up on a farm in Tremont, Faye developed an independent and selfless spirit along with a love for animals early on. She participated in 4-H, completed 100-mile trail rides, and spent countless hours horseback on her childhood horse, Cocoa. As an adult, Faye had run a daycare out of her home, bred Dalmatians, and rehabilitated animals in need. Her passion in animal care guided her professionally. Faye studied Veterinary Technology at Parkland College, graduating in 1978, and later became a Registered Nurse, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1995 from Mennonite College of Nursing. In her career as a Registered Nurse, Faye provided specialized home healthcare for children with tracheostomies.

Faye was a warm, thoughtful individual whose deep compassion extended to both animals and people alike. She was one of Jehovah's Witnesses belonging to the Riverside congregation, located in East Peoria, IL. Faye found joy in the simple pleasures of horseback riding, caring for her dogs, gardening, baking, cooking, and sharing a good cup of tea with those she loved. Whether tending to a wounded animal, comforting a patient, or offering support to friends and family, Faye lived her life with tender care and generosity.

At the request of Faye, cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
