Ervin L. Hostetler, 87, of Roanoke, IL, passed away at 8:14 am on Sunday, February 14, 2021, at Loft Rehabilitation and Nursing in Eureka, IL. He was born on May 26, 1933, in Roanoke, IL, to John E. and Amanda S. (Kennell) Hostetler. He married Barbara E. Christner.

Surviving are his wife, Barbara; daughter, Julie Hostetler; son, John Hostetler; sisters, Lorene Hostetler and Marilyn Hostetler; brother-in-law, Jake Christner, all of Roanoke; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sisters Nora Christner, Anna Hostetler, and Cathryn Hostetler.

Ervin was a life-long farmer in Roanoke. He was a member of North Linn Amish Mennonite Church in Roanoke.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at North Linn Amish Mennonite Church, 1794 County Road 1500 East, Roanoke with church ministers officiating. Burial will be in Stewart Harmony Cemetery in Metamora.
