Enid Miller

Enid Miller, 69, of Germantown Hills, passed away at 8:49am, Friday, January 24, 2014 at her residence with family by her side. She was born February 1, 1944 in Paragould, AR the daughter of John and Christine Norton Cole. She married Carl Miller on July 17, 1965 in East Peoria. Surviving are one daughter Kate (Dave) Cookson of Peoria and one son US Army Major William J. (Kristyn) Miller of Fayettville, NC. two grandchildren Hunter Miller and Morgan Miller. Also surviving are her parents and one sister Joan Johnson; one sister in law Monica Cole all of Mountain Home, AR. three brothers Scott (Jerilou) Cole of Hope, IN; Joe Cole of Peoria; and Glenn Cole of Snow, AR as well as her former husband Carl Miller of Creve Coeur. One infant sister and her brother Oscar Cole preceded her in death. She previously worked at GE Capital in Barrington, IL for many years. After moving to Germantown Hills, she worked for WTVP Television in Peoria as a Development Assistant before retiring. She enjoyed gardening, shopping, family and her grandchildren. Cremation rites have been accorded with no services scheduled.
