Elinor A. Rosenak

PEORIA...Elinor A. Rosenak, 75, of Valrico, Florida passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 10:13 pm in her home after a year long struggle with lung cancer. Born on April 26, 1936 in Peoria to Donald & Lela Clinebell Dawson, who preceded her in Death, along with one sister Joyce Ann Dawson Thomison. Elinor married Paul Rosenak in Corinth, Mississippi on May 13, 1953. Elinor is survived by Husband Paul of Florida, daughters, Marilyn (Ned) Wright, Paula Ann (Terry) Boyer, both of Maryland, Cheryl Rosenak of Florida and Jean McBain of Virginia; one brother, Robert (Carol) Dawson of Morton; one sister, Donna (Jim) Headly of East Peoria, two grandsons and two great grandsons. Elinor had a long successful career as owner/manager of the family Mariel Hallmark Store in Sterling, Virginia. Elinor was a very loving and caring person who touched all those around her with goodness. Elinor is loved by many and will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held at 12:00 Noon with the Memorial Service to follow at 1:00 PM. Services are to be held on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at the Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington with Pastor Gregg Grindinge of Grace Presbyterian officiating. Burial will follow at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
