Eileen A. Stivers

Eileen A. Stivers, 90, of LowPoint, IL passed away at 7:45 am on Monday, March 13, 2017 at her daughter's residence in Toluca, IL. She was born on November 5, 1926 in Livingston County, IL to Eugene and Cecil (Winkler) Moulton. She married Neil A. Stivers on July 14, 1950 in Metamora. He died on March 11, 2000. Surviving are her children Daryl (Star) Stivers of LowPoint, David (Jean) Stivers of Washburn, and Diane (Don) Gensler of Toluca; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by great-grandson Andrew Ledbetter and brother Willis Moulton. Eileen was a school teacher who taught at several one room school houses in her early years of teaching. She enjoyed fossil hunting, fishing, outdoor activities, animals especially her cats, and visits from her family. She had attended Spring Bay United Methodist Church in Spring Bay, IL. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel with Reverend Andrew Hopp officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Spring Bay Cemetery, Spring Bay.
