Eileen F. Mosbach, 82, of Washington formerly of Oglesby, IL passed away unexpectedly on Thursday evening March 14, 2013 in the emergency room of Proctor Hospital in Peoria. She was born on August 28, 1930 in Ottawa, IL the daughter of Harris and Agnes (Gjerde) Nelson. She married Robert "Bob" Mosbach on March 15, 1952 in LaSalle, IL. Surviving are her husband and their three children, Carleen Mosbach of Chicago; Roberta Mosbach of Bloomington; and Jim (Michelle) Mosbach of Washington. Also surviving are two grandchildren J.T. and Tyler both of Washington. She was preceded in death by her brother Donald Nelson. She and her husband owned and operated a dairy farm for over 40 years in rural Oglesby. After living on the family farm for many years, she and Bob relocated to Washington in 2005 to be closer to their grandchildren. She was a member of Crossroads United Methodist Church in Washington. Her greatest joy in life was her family, and endless caring and concern for others. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Services will be 11am on Monday March 18th at Crossroads United Methodist Church with the Rev. Tom Goodell officiating. Visitation will be from 9am until her time of service. Burial will follow in Glendale Cemetery in Washington. Memorial contributions in her name may be given to the Children?s Hospital of Illinois or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
