Edward E. Mitzelfelt

Edward E. Mitzelfelt, 71, of Metamora, IL passed away at 2:25 am on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Rosewood Care Center of Peoria, IL. He was born on November 20, 1946 in Metamora, IL to Clarence A. and Milda M. (Fuchs) Mitzelfelt.

Surviving are his children Thomas (Nicole) Mitzelfelt of Peoria, IL and Tami Mitzelfelt of Dunlap and their children Jaret, Amira, Kahlel, and Anika; Curtis (Deborah) Parr of Germantown Hills whom Ed considered his own and their children Brooke (Joe) Edwards, Morgan (Ryan) Jackson, and Ben Parr; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Clarence "Sonny" Mitzelfelt and William "Bill" Mitzelfelt.

Ed worked as a welder at UN-Rohn Company. He enjoyed his land and being outdoors, especially enjoying horse back riding.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A Memorial Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Friday, December 1, 2017 at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel in Metamora.
