Eddie Ballard

EAST PEORIA- Eddie Ballard, 59, lost his battle with Glioblastoma, passing away in his home on Friday, April 6, 2018.

He was born in Peoria, IL on October 5, 1958, to Ed Ballard and Elva Miles. He married Cyndi Perkins on September 9, 2012.

Surviving are his wife, his two children Eddie Ballard Jr. of Peoria and Amber Walker of Creve Coeur, IL. Also surviving are his father, four grandchildren Blake Ballard (13) Brett Ballard (3), Kylee Jo Doty (4) and Cash Doty (1), two sisters Paula Isenberg of Clinton, TN and Kathy Joseph of Spring Bay along with one brother Cary Ballard of East Peoria. His mother preceded him in death.

A 1976 high school graduate, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy thereafter. Later, his career evolved as he became a talented carpenter and contractor for over forty years. He loved his work and training his son in the field.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Eddie was a super fan of NASCAR, the Chicago Bears and the Chicago Cubs.
