Dwayne Scott Tesch, 39, of Bartonville, IL passed away at 7:05 am on Friday, June 19, 2020 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born on August 5, 1980 in Peoria, IL to Tony E. and Barbara A. (Burgess) Tesch. He had been married to Carrie Howell.

Surviving are his mother Barbara Tesch of Metamora; father Tony (Beverly) Tesch of Lacon; children Deven and Allie Tesch both of Washington and Xander Tesch of Bartonville; siblings Quentin Tesch of Lacon and Sara Tesch of Metamora; grandfathers Norman Tesch of Peoria and Harold (Becky) Burgess of Dahinda, IL; step-grandfather Thomas Pierce of Peoria; and his love Ashlee Garske of Bartonville. He was preceded in death by his son Michael and grandmothers Ruthann Pierce and Marcella Tesch.

Dwayne had worked as a machinist in the manufacturing trade. He was an avid Cardinals baseball fan, enjoyed making DIY projects, and loved hostas. He enjoyed playing with his kids and spending time with them.

A private family viewing will be held on Friday, June 26, 2020 with cremation rites following. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to an Educational Fund for his children through Goodfield State Bank, 800 West Mt. Vernon Street, Metamora, IL 61548.
