Clyde E. "Duke" Oetzel 68, of Peoria passed away Saturday, March 13, 2021, comfortably at his home.

Duke was born December 14, 1952, to Jack and Hazel Oetzel. Duke has four siblings Ronnie, Linda, Larry, and Cindy, all surviving. He has three children Brooke (Tim) Lancaster, Ben (Jennifer) Oetzel, and Nicole (AJ) Baksai. He has five grandchildren Kendyl Halsey, Karsyn Halsey, Evangeline Baksai, AJ "Trey" Baksai, and Kayla Aspel. He also had several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Duke worked as a heavy equipment operator for Local 649, retiring in 2010. Duke loved his family, muscle cars, NASCAR, and NHRA racing. His family will greatly miss him.
