Duane E. Koch, 83, of Cazenovia, IL passed away at 3:30 am on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at his residence. He was born on October 20, 1937 in Metamora, IL to Walter and Kathryn (Stang) Koch. He married Nancy M. Kennel on September 10, 1970 in Metamora, IL. They celebrated 50 years of marriage in 2020.

Surviving are his wife, Nancy of Cazenovia; children, Deborah (Steve) Chapman of Chenoa, Rick (Sharon) Koch of Oxford, NE, Gary (Sharlene) Koch of Forrest, IL, Brenda Koch of Bloomington, IL, and Vicki Koch of Forrest, IL; blessed with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and four sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Brian Koch, and sister Jean.

Duane was a bricklayer for 50 years, working for Bricklayers Local #6. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, tinkering around the house, making homemade wine, and enjoying a good game of cards.
