Dorothy Caho

Dorothy J. Caho, 75, of Washington, IL formerly of Metamora, IL passed away on Friday, April 28, 2023, at Timbercreek Rehab & Health Center in Pekin, IL.

She was born on August 14, 1947, in Peoria the daughter of Francis and Neva R. Janes Gordon.

Surviving are one daughter Michelle (Bill) Tryba of Pekin; two grandchildren Courtney (Calena Craddolph) of Okinawa Japan and Michael (Brittany) LeVieux Jr. of East Peoria, IL; two great grandchildren Ava and Lawson LeVieux; two brothers Larry (Sandy) Gordon of Cuba, IL, and Richard (Nan) Gordon of East Peoria. and many nieces and nephews. Her parents, three brothers, Gene, Michael and Marvin, all preceded her in death.

She worked for Caterpillar Tractor Company for 31 years, retiring in 2001. She was a member of Crossroads United Methodist Church in Washington, and the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed her time as a weather watcher for Woodford County and as a voting judge in Metamora

Cremation Rites have been accorded. A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 AM on Monday, May 8, 2023, at Crossroads Methodist Church in Washington. Visitation will be one-hour prior to her service followed by an Eastern Star Service. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria. Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be given to her church or the Order of the Eastern Star.
