Doris A. Mullins

Doris A. Mullins, 71, of Metamora, IL passed away at 11:25 am on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Eureka Apostolic Christian Home in Eureka, IL. She was born on April 14, 1946 in Fayetteville, TN to John and Aleene (Mitchell) Mullins.

Surviving are her brother Roger (Sherry) Mullins of Goodfield, IL; sister Rebecca (Jeff) DeGroot of Germantown Hills; niece Kim (Reed) Landmark of Edwards, IL; nephews Tim Mullins of Nixa, MO and Patrick (Shelley) Hakes of Nashville, TN; and great-niece Mae Chole Hakes. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Doris worked at Caterpillar from 1981 – 1984, worked in printing at CILCO from 1984 – 1999, worked as a courier at Pekin Hospital from 2000 – 2008, and in housekeeping for Eureka Apostolic Christian Home from 2009 to present. She was a member of Metamora Mennonite Church.

Graveside services will be held at 9:30 am on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Hickory Point Cemetery in Metamora. Memorial service will follow at 11:00 am on Saturday at Metamora Mennonite Church with church ministers officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Friday, September 22, 2017 at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel and also one hour prior to her service on Saturday at the church.
