Doris M. Dully

Doris Marilyn (Felker) Dully, 85, of Marionville, MO, formally of Snyder Village, Metamora, IL, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 27, 2015. She was born July 17, 1929, in Pleasant Hill, IL, the daughter of Charles C. Felker and Matilda M. (King) Felker. On October 16, 1948, she was united in marriage to Delbert Dean Dully in Groveland, IL, who preceded her in death on November 11, 2000. Also preceding her in death are her parents, one son Michael D. Dully, sister Loretta Gordon, and brother Melvin Felker. Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Richard (Christine) Underwood of Shell Knob, MO; three sisters, Mrs. Joseph (Betty) Shaw of Sun City West, AZ, Joan Miller of Manito, IL, and Mrs. James (Sandy) Miller of Spring Bay, IL; two brothers, Eugene Felker of Morton, IL, and Raymond (Donna) Felker of East Wenatchee, WA; one sister-in-law June Felker of Jacksonville, FL; four grandchildren, Shawn (Kristi) Dully, Derek (Lisa) Dully, Jody (Shea) Barger, and Jamie (Chad) Atkinson; and seven great-grandchildren, Ashley, Dakota, Danielle and Alaina Dully, Jordyn Atkinson, Liam and Whitney Barger. Doris and her family lived in Groveland, IL until 1973 when she and her husband then moved out into the country in Metamora, where she enjoyed her flower gardens and taking care of their two pigmy goats, Buttons & Bows. After her husband died in 2000, Doris moved into Snyder Village in Metamora then again moved on June 1, 2015 to Marionville, MO to be closer to her daughter Chris. Doris enjoyed spending time with her daughter Chris and her husband Rick in Missouri and with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was especially looking forward to seeing her newest great-granddaughter Whitney Grace Barger. Doris worked as a secretary at Groveland Grade School, Groveland, IL and Jefferson Junior High School, Morton, IL, from 1958 until retiring in 1998. She attended Metamora Mennonite Church in Metamora and First Christian Church of Shell Knob, MO. Graveside services will be held on Monday, July 6, 2015 at 9:30 am at Groveland Evangelical Mennonite Cemetery, Groveland with a Memorial Service to follow at 11:00 am at Metamora Mennonite Church with Reverend Mike Danner officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 5, 2015 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel.
