Doris E. Devine, 81, of Morton, IL passed away at 7:38 am, Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at Reflections Memory Care of Morton.

She was born on October 5, 1940, in Augusta, GA the daughter of Chester and Alice Cadle Murphy.  She married Stanley D. Devine on October 12, 1963, in Huntsville, AL.

Surviving are her husband, their children Sarah Devine of Morton, Andrew Devine of Madison, AL and Daughter Sarah Ray of Ardmore, TN.  Also surviving are three grandchildren, six great grandchildren and two sisters, Mary Ann of Huntsville AL and Patricia of Atlanta, GA. Her parents and one son Johnathon preceded her in death.

She loved children and for many years owned and operated a home daycare in Washington, IL, Wadsworth, OH and lastly in Morton, IL.

Cremation rite have been accorded.  A private graveside service is scheduled  at Glendale Cemetery in Washington.  Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.
