Donna J. Holocker

Donna J. Holocker, 73, of Lowpoint, IL passed away at 2:25 pm on Friday, October 19, 2018 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria, IL.  She was born on January 13, 1945 in Peoria, IL to Donald and Loretta (Call) Heck.  She married Gilbert L. Holocker on March 29, 1963 in Jacksonville, NC.  He passed away on July 21, 2008.

Surviving are two sons Donald (Colette) Holocker of Lacon, IL and Scott (Mary Nix) Holocker of East Peoria; four grandchildren Sarah (Brandon) Craig who spent many cherished times with her grandmother, Rose Holocker, James Holocker, and Edward Holocker; two great-grandchildren Addalyn Crow and Juliana Craig who also spent many cherished times with their great-grandmother; and brother Dennis (Peg) Heck of Lowpoint.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Donna was a monitor technician, retiring from OSF St. Francis Medical Center.  She was a member of Emergency 116 in Metamora for many years and American Legion Auxiliary.  She enjoyed garage sales and traveling but most of all spending time with her grandkids.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel with Reverend Bob DeBolt officiating.  Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at the funeral home and also one hour prior to her service on Thursday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Spring Bay Cemetery in Spring Bay.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Illinois Cancer Center, 8940 North Wood Sage Road, Peoria, IL 61615.  Online condolences at www.masonfuneralhomes.com.
