Donald G. Kelch, 69, of Metamora, IL passed away at 7:55 am on Friday, April 15, 2016 at UnityPoint Health-Methodist in Peoria. He was born on December 30, 1946 in Peoria, IL to Phillip and Velma (Marvel) Kelch. He married Suette M. Fredericks on August 19, 1988 in Paducah, KY. She survives. Also surviving are his step-children Tami Crocker and Cheri (Jason) Clark both of Washburn, IL, and Scot Delap of Metamora; five step-grandchildren; and uncle Ardy Kelch of Bartonville. He was preceded in death by his parents. Don was a mechanic and had worked at Keystone, BFI, and Waste Management where he retired. He enjoyed the outdoors, watching westerns, model trains, and reading his bible. He was a member of Riverside Community Church, Peoria. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel with Reverend John King officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
