Diane M. Brubaker

Diane M. Brubaker, 59, of Germantown Hills passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at her residence. She was born September 15, 1953 in Peoria the daughter of Alfred "Chappie" and Eileen R. Fandel Miller. She married Ricky Teuerle on June 10, 1972 he died in 1973. She later married David E. Brubaker on October 25, 1980 in Peoria. Surviving are her husband, one brother Dennis (Tina) Miller; one sister Denise (Ken) Hammer all of Germantown Hills; one grandson Logan A. Teuerle of Danvers, IL. Further surviving are four nieces Rebecca Miller of Germantown Hills, Catrina (Jason) Egan of Peoria, Kelly (Cal) Braun of Eureka, and Kerry (Jake) Rohman of Washington. One great nephew Wyatt Braun of Eureka and one great niece Ava Rohman of Washington also survive. Her parents, one son Brad, and one brother Larry preceded her in death. Diane was a unit secretary for 10 years at OSF St. Francis Hospital in Peoria, later working for the Peoria Journal Star for 26 years as a carrier, last working on Sunday. She was a member of St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church. Diane loved to read and particularly enjoyed the company of her cat, Shadow. Cremation rites have been accorded with a Memorial Mass scheduled for 10am on Tuesday January 29, 2013 at St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church in rural Metamora with Fr. Neri Greskoviak officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorials in her name may be given for an education fund for Wyatt Emerson Braun and Ava Marie Rohman established at PNC Bank.
