Denise L. Reyes

Denise L. Reyes, 62, of Metamora, IL, passed away at 7:43 am on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at Carle Bromenn Medical Center in Normal, IL.

She was born on November 9, 1963, in Harbor City, CA, to Alan and Laurie (Finch) Arton. She married Elige “EJ” Tunis on December 27, 2005, in Las Vegas, NV.

Surviving are her husband, EJ of Metamora; daughter, Ashton (Jason) Bealls of Peoria, IL; sons, Joshua Hurley of Cheyenne, WY and Caleb (Kara) Weldon-Dieckow of Winamac, IN; grandchildren, Mason Hurley, Aiden Weldon-Dieckow, and Jesse Weldon-Dieckow; father, Alan Arton of Klamath Falls, OR; mother, Laurie Arton of Washburn, IL; sister, Karen (Jason) Boersma of Norco, CA; and her dog, Maui.

Denise had worked in the customer service department for RLI Insurance. She enjoyed puzzles, adult coloring books, diamond art, and doing crafts.
