Denise W. Parr Stewart, 65, of Cedar Lake, IN, passed away at 10:30 am on Monday, November 7, 2022 at Franciscan Health in Crown Point, IN.

She was born on May 11, 1957 in Peoria, IL to Dennis and Grace (Mack) Parr. She married Jack Lynn Stewart on July 16, 1996 in Peoria, IL.

Surviving are her husband, Jack of Cedar Lake, IN; children, Jeremy (Laura) Stewart of Crown Point, IN, Jonathan Stewart of Morton, IL, and Nathan (Stephanie) Stewart of Washington, IL; four grandchildren, Mia Stewart, Gianna Stewart, Layla Stewart, and Little Jeremy Stewart; four siblings, Pat (Bill) Hawley of Peoria, IL, Liz Biltgen of Peoria, IL, John Parr of Mt. Vernon, WA, and Donna (Jeff) Parr Carpentier of Peoria, IL; nineteen nieces and nephews; and nineteen great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Joseph (Joan) Parr, Mike (Cathy) Parr, and Darrell (Julie) Parr, and two nephews.

Denise worked as a supervisor for Goodwill Industries. She enjoyed camping and arts and crafts.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, November 17, 2022 in Spring Bay Cemetery in Spring Bay, IL with Pastor Bob DeBolt officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to a charity of the donor's choice. Online condolences at www.masonfuneralhomes.com.
