WASHINGTON...Debra L. Briggs, 52, of Washington, passed away on November 17, 2013 at her home in Washington. Debra was born on June 9, 1961 in Mendota to Carl and Marian (Byers) Briggs. Among those surviving are her mother of Gilbert, Arizona and one sister, Carla Cross of Gilbert, Arizona; one brother, Dean Briggs of Tempe, Arizona and three nephews, Brandon, Ben and Beau Cross. Debra loved animals and strays, so in her memory donations may be made to TAPS. Graveside services will be held Friday, December 6, 2013 at 3 p.m. at Beardstown Cemetery in Beardstown. Mason-White Funeral Home is assisting the family in arrangements.
