Deborah "Debby" (Dembinski) Whited

Deborah "Debby" Whited, 72, of Peoria, joined her beloved husband, John Whited, in heaven on December 21, 2022. Debby passed away at the OSF Richards L. Owens Hospice Home.

She was born on December 28, 1949, in Peoria, IL, to Richard and Mary Dembinski. She graduated from Elmwood High School in 1968. On October 16, 2004, she married John Whited.

Debby was a dedicated mom to Shannon (Brian) Niedermeier and Sean (Stephanie) Sullivan and a doting Mimi to her three grandchildren, Wendy and Marissa Sullivan, and Jareth Foulks. Preceding her in death were her husband, parents, brother Richard "Gene" Dembinski, sisters Beverly "Bev" Sherlock and Sandra "Sandy" Hayden, and her brother-in-law Russell Sherlock.

She was a treasured volunteer at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum and a lifelong St. Louis Cardinals fan.

Debby requested that no services be held, but a private family gathering will be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the OSF Richard Owens Hospice Home. Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.
