David R. Frank

PEORIA?David R. Frank, 48, of Peoria, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2014 in Peoria. Dave was born on March 19, 1966 in Peoria to Charles E. and Donna Jean (Cape) Frank. Among those surviving is his father, Charles Frank of Ashby, Minnesota; one niece, Briana Frank of Elgin; his special friend, Ellen Jansen of Peoria and his sister-in-law, Darlena Pitsonbarger of Mantino. Dave was preceded in death by his brother, Joe, who died in 1994 and his mother who passed away February 14, 2014. He worked for Methodist Medical Center in Peoria where he was a senior hardware technician. Prior to that he had worked for Caterpillar. Dave was a graduate of Limestone High School in the class of 1984. After high school he went on to earn a bachelors degree in biology from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb. Dave then attended Washington University in St. Louis where he earned a medical degree. Dave loved to study genealogy, as well as exercising, especially biking and running. He also was passionate about computers and programming and had studied computer forensics. He was a member of Northwoods Community Church in Peoria. A celebration of Dave?s life will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington with Pastor Norv Condy officiating. Burial will follow in Glendale Cemetery in Washington. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Memorials for Dave may be directed to a charity of the donor?s choosing.
