David Allen DeFrance, Jr., 60, of Canton, IL passed away at 1:13 pm on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at his residence.

He was born on September 30, 1959 in Peoria, IL to David A. and Gertrude I. (Paprson) DeFrance, Sr. He married Lois Solbrack in 1978 and was blessed with four children. He later married Patricia M. Morris.

Surviving are his wife Patricia; children Desirae Tannhauser, Deanna (James) Amick, Dori (Matthew) Pentecost, and David (Heidi) DeFrance; nine grandchildren; sister Debra (Albert) Weishaar; and brother Daniel (Terri) DeFrance. David was anticipating the birth of his first great-grandchild this spring. He was preceded in death by his parents.

David was a 1977 graduate of Richwoods High School in Peoria. He was a truck driver by trade.
