David Adams

David A. Adams, 51, of Washington, formerly of Metamora, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday April 18, 2013. He was born on January 15, 1962 in Peoria the son of Norbert and Wilma Scheirer Adams. Surviving are his parents of Metamora; one brother Stan (April) Adams of Metamora and their children Danny (Sarah) of Washington, Nathan of Germantown Hills and John and Michael both of Metamora; one sister Janet Adams of Washington and her children Justin of North Carolina, Ashley and Avery both of Washington. He was preceded in death by one niece Eileen. Dave attended St. Mary?s Grade School in Metamora. He was a member of St. Patrick?s Catholic Church in Washington. He was a self-employed carpenter in the Metamora and Washington area. A Mass of Christian burial will be Wednesday April 24, 2013 at St. Mary?s Catholic Church in Metamora with Fr. Don Roszkowsi officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5pm until 7pm at Mason Funeral Home in Metamora with recitation of the Rosary at 4:30pm. Cremation rites will follow his Mass with private burial of his remains at St. Mary?s Cemetery in Metamora. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name may be given to St. Mary?s Catholic Church in Metamora.
