Dan Gullett

Dan A. Gullett, 60, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, was called to his eternal resting place on August 25, 2017 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

He entered this world on October 17, 1956 in Peoria, IL, born to Robert and Betty Nimmo Gullett.

He married Judy L. McCoy on May 3, 1980 in East Peoria, IL. Surviving are his wife, one son Tim (Christal) Gullett of Washington, daughter Sarah (Chris) Orr of Creve Coeur, and grandsons Grayson, Kellen, and Kairyn. Also surviving are his parents of East Peoria, two brothers Gene Gullett of West Palm Beach, FL, and Tim (Jean) Gullett of Washington; three sisters Gail (Dave) Manuel of East Peoria, IL; Cheryl (Bob) Murray of Spring Bay, IL and Cindy (Gary) Guthrie of Belleville, IL. Further surviving is one brother in law Andy Knott of Mascoutah, IL. One sister Penny Knott preceded him in death.

He worked for Sherwin Williams in Peoria as a delivery associate. He previously worked for Edward Hine Printing as a pressman for 33 years. He enjoyed many things in life including fishing and camping, but especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 29th from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m at Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 30, 2017 also at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memory Gardens in rural Morton. Memorials in Dan's name may be given to an education fund for his grandchildren, established at Heartland Bank and Trust Co. or to the American Cancer Society.
