Dale L. Shaver, 71, of Washington, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at his residence.

He was born on January 18, 1955, in Macomb, Illinois, the son of John and Margaret Crumley Shaver. He married Julia Bryan on June 14, 1975, in Macomb. She passed away on May 20, 1998. He later married Joni Paris, and she passed away on September 11, 2020. One stepson, Seth Rhodes, also preceded him in death.

Surviving are three sons, Paul (Candi) Shaver of Chandlerville, Illinois; Bryan Shaver of Muscatine, Iowa; and Corey Shaver of Washington. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Gabriel, Crew, and Zoë. Further surviving are two sisters, Nancy Clark of Beloit, Wisconsin, and Gloria Demarteleare of Macomb.

He worked at Media Com for many years, retiring as a construction supervisor in 2018.

Cremation rites have been accorded. The family will privately celebrate his life with an inurnment at Good Hope Cemetery in Good Hope, Illinois.
