Cynthia S. Waldschmidt

Cynthia S. Waldschmidt, 69, of East Peoria, IL, passed away at 11:20 pm on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.

She was born on September 6, 1956, in Peoria, IL to George and Bonnie (Smith) Cornwell.

Surviving are her son, Scott (Stephanie) Coultas of Lindale TX; daughter, Tekoa Coultas of Washington IL; partner, Mark Clark of Creve Coeur IL; grandchildren, Carter, Dylan, and Stella Coultas; and sister, Shelia (Dave) White of East Peoria, She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Micheal Hagey and Sam Hagey.

She was a supervisor at Caterpillar Tractor Co. until her retirement and enjoyed traveling with her partner.

Cremation rites have been accorded. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to TAPS, 100 Taps Lane, Pekin, IL 61554; or The ARK Humane Society, 477 State Route 26, Lacon, IL 61540.
