She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Metamora and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 89 Metamora and served many funeral dinners throughout the years.

As the oldest of eight children, Colette found great joy and fulfillment in family throughout her life. A devoted wife, mother, Grandman, and Gigi, she poured her heart into every role she held. She worked at McBride and Shoff in Metamora, IL, for over 30 years, but her most cherished work was creating a warm and welcoming home for those she loved.

She could often be found hanging fresh laundry on the line, baking cookies, or tending to her beautiful garden. Through the love she gave, the traditions she nurtured, and the family she loved, Colette leaves behind a strong and fruitful legacy that will continue for generations.
