Clyde R. Robison Sr

Clyde R. Robison Sr. age 75 of Peoria, Illinois formerly of Bay View Gardens, Illinois passed away at 9:07am Wednesday Nov. 7, 2012 at his residence. He was born July 27, 1937 in Peoria to Clyde J. and Bernice (Thrall) Robison. He married Joann (Kern) Walker. Surviving are his children, Clyde R. Robison Jr. of Morton, Grant (Catheryne) Robison of Blountville, TN., Shane (Tammie) Robison of Spring Bay, Lisa Robison and Jean Johnson both of Broomfield CO. Grandchildren, Grant Robison Jr., LaNell Robison, Stuart Galloway, Aaron Galloway, Kalie Robison, Jacob Galloway, Jessica Johnson, Amanda Robison, Nicolas Johnson and four great grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother John Carrington of Peoria. He was preceded in death by his parents. Clyde was a Navy Veteran serving on the USS Hector in San Diego, CA., and was owner of Pizza Delight in Peoria. Worked at Heister Manufacturing for 22 years then for Caterpillar and last working for Meister Electric. He was a inventor with numerous patents and had a passion for Space Exploration. He was of the Catholic faith. A memorial service will be at 1:00pm Saturday Nov. 10, 2012 at Mason Funeral Home Germantown Hills Chapel with Father Neri Greskoviak officiating. Visitation will be from 11:30am until service time at the funeral home. Cremation rites have been accorded with burial of ashes at St. Mary?s Cemetery in Peoria.
