Cheryl Rudd

Cheryl Rudd, 59, of Peoria, passed away at 1:39am, Sunday, February 18, 2018, at the home of her daughter Amanda.

She was born September 10, 1958 in Erie, PA, the daughter of Richard and Carol Falkenhagen Ewiak. She married Timothy Rudd on November 3, 1990 in Peoria and he passed away on November 16, 2012. She was also preceded in death by her father.

Cheryl is survived by her children Amy (Donald) Bement, Lisa (Kravis) Pfeiffer, Michael (Emilee) Horvath, Melissa (Ben) Resler, and Amanda Rudd. Also surviving is her Mother Carol Ewiak; step-daughter Jovana (Fred) Stancliff; grandchildren Kaitlynn, Kravis Jr, Lily, Kori, Eli, Emma, Jakub, and Maja; sisters Linda (Mike) Wetmore and Karen (Steve) Harrah. She is also survived by her beloved brother and sister in laws, along with several nieces and nephews.

She was the head cook at Pleasant Hill Grade School. Shari had a deep love for her dog Eddie and will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial visitation will be held Friday, February 23, 2018, from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at Hero's Hall, 601 Rusche Lane in Creve Coeur. A memorial service will follow at 6:00pm also at Hero's Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital–Peoria Affiliate or to the Sister's Charity at OSF St. Francis Medical Center.
