Chelsea B. Oesterle

Chelsea B. Oesterle, 24, of Germantown Hills passed away at 8:25pm Thursday, July 4, 2013 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. She was born May 8, 1989 in Peoria the daughter of Gary and Terri Inman Oesterle. Surviving are her mother Terri (Kevin) Klein of Germantown Hills, her father Gary Oesterle of Peoria, three sisters Taylor Oesterle, Kailyn Klein and Kyrie Klein all of Germantown Hills. Also surviving are her paternal grandfather Glen Oesterle of Hanna City and her maternal grandfather Terry Inman of Bartonville. Among other survivors are many aunts, uncles and cousins, and including her boyfriend, Matt Perry. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother Marilyn Stafford, her step maternal grandmother Carol Oesterle, maternal grandmother Antha Inman, and paternal great grandfather George Oesterle. Chelsea was a 2007 graduate of Metamora High School and attended Illinois Central College. Chelsea?s hobbies and interests included sports, outdoors, and cooking. Her family was very important to her. She was the oldest of four sisters, and held a close bond with each of them. Chelsea?s beauty was apparent on the inside and out. She had great compassion for others in need. She had many dreams and goals, despite difficult obstacles. Whatever life threw at her, her strength showed through, which was one of her most admirable traits. Chelsea will be dearly missed by her family, friends and coworkers. Being known for her independence, it was fitting that fireworks occurred minutes after she passed. Independence Day will always be Chelsea?s day of remembrance and celebration. Chelsea was a baptized member of Christ Lutheran Church in Peoria prior to the family transferring their membership to Trinity Lutheran Church. Services will be at 11am Wednesday July, 10th 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Mark Nelson and Uncle Rev. Jay Frazell officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday evening at Mason Funeral Home in Germantown Hills from 4pm until 7pm and also 30 minutes prior to the Wednesday service at the church. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery in Peoria. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be given to Gift of Hope Tissue and Donor Network or Warren and Helen Frazell (Chelsea?s Great Grandparents) Mission Fund C/O of Christ Lutheran Church.
