Obituary

Charlotte L. Foley (Lehmann) passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at the Richard Owen Hospice Home in Peoria, Illinois.

Charlotte was born in Chicago, Illinois, on March 4, 1938, to Edward and Annie Lehmann.

She was preceded in death by her eldest son, Gregory McGuire; her son-in-law, Rick Hale; and her siblings Margaret Lehmann, Francis Yerby, Edna Falibene, Helen Lehmann, Edward Lehmann Jr., Mary Stewart, and Lorraine Campbell.

Charlotte is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Mark) Copley; her sons, Jeff (Kathy) McGuire, Phil McGuire, and Rich (Kathleen) McGuire. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jered Hale, Tiffany Hale, Austin McGuire, and David McGuire, as well as her great-grandson, Keller McGuire. She is further survived by her last remaining sibling, Dorothy Rizo of Crystal Lake.

Charlotte was a talented artist who loved painting and crocheting. She found her greatest joy in spending time with her family, creating with her hands, and sharing her creativity and warmth with those she loved. Her kindness, creativity, and devotion to her family will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

A funeral service is scheduled for 1 pm on Friday, December 26, 2025, at Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington. Visitation will be one-hour prior to her service. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memory Gardens in rural Morton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Whip, (Washington Helps Its People).
