Chuck was born on June 8, 1923 in Washington to John and Minnie King Felker. He married Vera Burnham on July 11, 1942 in Palmyra, Missouri. Vera passed away on October 23, 2005 in Magnolia. Among those surviving is one daughter, Pamela ""Pam"" (Cal) Kaufman of Lacon; two grandsons, Joseph (Jackie) Soto of Congerville and Mike Kaufman of Danvers and four great grandchildren, Courtney, Corbin, Cyrus and Collin Soto. Chuck was also preceded in death by one son, Terry Lee Felker who died on December 14, 1988 near Eureka. Chuck had worked for many years in the body shop at Garber Ford in Washington. He later worked for and retired from Aerospace Corporation in El Segundo, California. He was a former member of St. MarkA
