Charleen Downard Neal

Charleen Downard-Neal, age 82, of Germantown Hills, Illinois passed away at 10:15 pm on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at her residence. She was born on February 21, 1932 in Hinckley, Illinois to Charles and Grace (Evans) Walker. She married Harold Dean Downard in July, 1950. He died on July 20, 1992. She then married William Neal on December 1, 1997 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He died in July, 2004. Surviving is her children, Tina (Dan) Graham of Creve Coeur, Lisa (Randy) Stern of Saginaw, MI, Gary (Donna) Downard of Riverview, FL, Rick (Pat) Downard of Bellvue, IL, and Randy (Vickie) Downard of Peoria; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; one brother, Bob Fryrear of Peoria; four sisters, Pat Sievert of East Peoria, Sue Perina of Harrisburg, IL, Linda Burhams of Phoenix, AZ and Sharon Barlow of Peoria; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Ron Walker and Mike Fryrear; and one daughter-in-law, Debbie Downard. Charleen was a homemaker and enjoyed fishing and gardening.
