Carolyn Jean Blumenshine, 84, of Wenona, IL passed away at 1:09 am on Friday, October 30, 2020 at her residence.

She was born on November 6, 1935 in Shenandoah, IA to Glen and Fern (Norton) Henning. She married Robert J. Blumenshine on July 29, 1962 in Washington, IL.

Surviving are her husband Robert of Wenona; son David Blumenshine of Washington, IL; daughter Lori (Tim) Baggs of Wenona; grandchildren Valerie, Angela, Traci, Brandon, and TJ; many great-grandchildren; and siblings Virg (Sandy) Henning of Tarkio, MO, Russ Henning of Iowa, Norma Mather of Westboro, MO, Marianne (Herbert) Beggs of Mound City, MO, and Sally of Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, one great-grandson, one brother, and two sisters.

Carolyn was a homemaker who took wonderful care of her family. Her family was her world and she will be missed terribly.
