Carol J. Martin

Carol J. Martin, 77, of Metamora, IL passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at Unity Point Health-Methodist in Peoria, IL.

Carol was born on June 21, 1943, to Orva and Verna (Kennell) Martin. Surviving are four sisters, Donna (Leonard) Ulrich of Metamora, Loretta Ulrich of Washburn, Marilyn Davis of Cazenovia, and Susan (Michael) Christner of Low Point; two brothers, John (Ellen) Martin of Tampico and Delmar (Ruthie) Martin of Delavan; one sister-in-law, Colleen Martin of Delavan; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Ronald Martin, brother-in-law Karuna Davis, and one niece.

Carol was a baker at Hopedale Hospital for 30 years. She opened her own bakery in Washburn and operated it for 10 years. She was a member of the Linn Mennonite Church.

Private family services will be held on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel with Randy Ulrich officiating. Burial will be in Roanoke Mennonite Cemetery. Online condolences at www.masonfuneralhomes.com.
