Carol S. (Bong) Rebholz

Carol S. Rebholz, 76, of Metamora, IL passed away at 11:43 pm on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at her residence.

She was born on July 27, 1946, in Pekin, IL, to Frederick and Cora (Reaktenwalt) Bong. She married Jerry W. Rebholz on October 17, 1988 in St. Louis, MO.

Surviving are her husband, Jerry of Metamora; children, Carrie (Harvey) Wright of Farmington, MN, Tracy Schott of Creve Coeur, IL, Ronald (Tracy) Schott of Pekin, IL, Jeremy (Kelly) Schott of Springfield, IL, Jerry (Nancy) Rebholz, Jr. of Germantown Hills, IL, Jeff (Toni) Rebholz of Pekin, IL, and John (Heather) Rebholz of San Antonio, TX; thirteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren with one on the way; and sister, Judy McCosh of Princeville, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Tammy.

Carol worked as a license title clerk at the Uftring Auto Group. She enjoyed shopping, crossword puzzles, reading, and traveling. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and whenever her grandchildren had events, she was always there.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 am on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel with Dick Garber officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:30 am until service time, also on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fondulac Township Cemetery in East Peoria.
