Bryan S. Tiezzi, 68, of Morton, IL, passed away on Monday, May 12, 2025, at Apostolic Christian Timber Ridge in Morton, IL.
He was born on October 30, 1956, in Peoria, the son of Guido and Jean Birkett Tiezzi.
Surviving are three brothers: Stu (Nancy) Tiezzi of Elmwood, IL, Craig Tiezzi of Brimfield, IL, and Curt (Jan) Tiezzi of Washington. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. His parents and one sister-in-law, Bonnie, preceded Bryan in death.
Bryan's love for the Gaither family's music filled his apartment with harmonies that matched the song in his heart. A devoted fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, he not only cheered for his team but also surrounded himself with a treasured collection of their memorabilia.
Bryan's passion for dance and song was evident to all who knew him. He could often be found swaying to the tunes of Lawrence Welk, his voice a testament to the melodies he adored. His friendly demeanor ensured he never met a stranger, and his affectionate nature earned him the reputation of being a hugger who could brighten anyone's day.
Bryan's enthusiasm for life was contagious, and his involvement in the Special Olympics was a testament to his belief in the power of inclusion and the joy of participation. He approached each day with a heart full of optimism and a desire to make the most of every moment.
A simple pleasure in his life, a glass of Pepsi Cola, was his favorite refreshment. This sweet sip mirrored the sweetness he brought into the world. Bryan's exuberant spirit will be profoundly missed. Yet, his legacy of love and laughter will continue to inspire all fortunate enough to know him.
