Brian K. Best

Brian K. Best, 53, of Magnolia, IL passed away at 6:17 am on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at his residence. He was born on January 31, 1965 in Peoria, IL to Warren A. and Patricia J. (Jones) Best. He married Mary A. Walker on May 27, 1989 in LowPoint, IL.

Surviving are his wife Mary of Germantown Hills; daughters Heather (Matt) Craig of Magnolia and Ashley (Mitch) Allen of Lacon; grandchildren Nicholas, Taalor, Lillian, Ty, Mateo, and Elijah; siblings Dave (Amy) Best of Morton and Larry Best of Washburn; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Becky Robinson, brothers Dean, Kevin, and Brad Best, and niece Kaylee Best.

Brian was a U.S. Marine Corps Corporal Veteran. He was a truck driver. Brian was a member of the Woodford County Emergency Management Agency serving on the severe weather operations team as well as a search and rescue team leader. Brian was a dedicated member who will be missed by all.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel in Metamora, IL with Pastor Gary Salm officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Friday, March 23, 2018 at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel and also one hour prior to his service on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memory Gardens in rural Morton with military rites accorded.
