Brenda Gail Varble

Brenda "Gail" Varble age 62 of E. Peoria, Illinois passed away on Saturday Aug. 4, 2012 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center. She was born Nov. 29, 1949 in Jerseyville, IL, to Powell and (Amy Pelcha) Woody. She married Lloyd A. Varble in 1968 in Pittsfield, IL, and he survives. Surviving are her children, Marshall "Brian" (Kandace Shumaker) Varble of E. Peoria, Kim (Doug) Fandel of E. Peoria, and 3 step children. Grandchildren, Sydney Varble, Megan Varbel, Morgan Varble, Brian Varble, and 4 step grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister Carolyn S. Griffith of Jerseyville, IL, and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents and one great nephew. Brenda worked in Laundry and Housekeeping from 1980-2002 at Peoria Apostolic Christian Home, and the Holiday Inn in E. Peoria. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Averyville Baptist Church in E. Peoria. Funeral services will be at 2:00pm Tuesday Aug. 7, 2012 at Mason Funeral Home Germantown Hills Chapel with Rev. David Coyle officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Spring Bay Cemetery.
