Brenda Frank

Almighty God called Brenda Leah Ann Frank home to heaven at 5:50 am on Thursday, May 2, 2024, peacefully at Synder Village in Metamora. IL.

Brenda was born February 26, 1953, in Chippewa Falls, WI, to Eugene and Sadie (Rhoades) Lawrence, the youngest of 3 children. She was baptized and became a child of God as an infant at Notre Dame Catholic Church, Chippewa Falls. She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church, Morton, IL.

Her father passed away in 1955, her mother married Oren Fortney, and the family moved to Washington, IL. She graduated from Washington Community High School in 1971. She was married in August 1972 to Gregory Frank. That marriage gave her a stepson, Troy Frank, and a son, Todd Frank. She and the late Greg divorced in 1978.

Brenda loved to help people and was very successful in her career as a store manager for Clark Oil, Murphy Oil, and Circle K. Whether it was her customers, employees, store managers, or district and regional managers that she trained, she gave 100% to them all. She was known as "Mama Clark" to many of the people she taught. One of her greatest joys when she retired was that she had time to volunteer at church and continue to help others.

Survivors include her sons Todd of East Peoria and Troy (Angie) Frank of Washington, brother William "Willie" (Denise) Lawrence of Washington, sister Louise Green of Wayne, NE, nephews Joshua Lawrence and Jeremy Lawrence, granddaughter Jessica Frank and great-grandsons and one great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, father, mother and stepfather.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at Bethel Lutheran Church, Morton. Pastor Jeff Anderson will officiate. Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, from 5 pm until 7 pm at Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington. Cremation will follow her service, and a private inurnment will be at Hope Cemetery in Chippewa Falls, WI, at a later date.
