Bonnie Lee Riker

Bonnie L. Riker, 76, of Germantown Hills, IL, passed away at 12:24 am on Tuesday, January 23, 2024.

She was born on February 8, 1947, in Mount Clemens, MI to Octavio D. and Bernis L. (Gillespie) Riker.

She is survived by her three daughters, Wendy Russell of Stockton, CA, Holly Eitenmiller of Las Vegas, NV, and Loretta (Adam) Stone of Germantown Hills, IL; seven grandchildren, Andria Wages, Hannah (Zach) Wood, Caitlyn Odle, Ryan Russell, Autumn Eitenmiller, Lora Stone, and Lucas Stone; two great-grandchildren, Brycen Wood and Audrey Wood; three sisters, Victoria (Bill) Schell of Washington, IL, Nancy (Tim) Bass of Springfield, IL, and Olivia (Dale) Essary of Fresno, CA; and one brother, Del (Kathy Reed) Riker of Kingston, WA. She was preceded in death by her father Octavio Riker and mother Bernis Jones.

Bonnie lived in Rochester, MI and later moved with her family to Bartonville, IL where she attended Limestone Community High School and later attended Illinois Central College.

Bonnie was a woman of many talents. She spent many years in theater acting, costuming, and doing makeup at Peoria Players and other venues. She was an avid gardener, seamstress, and musician. If she wasn't out in her garden, you would find her knitting, crocheting, in her sewing room, or spending time with her grandchildren. She played the organ, piano, cello, mandolin, and spent many years in the choir at Grace Presbyterian Church in Peoria, IL.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at Mason Funeral Home Germantown Hills Chapel with Pastor Gary Roseboom officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Monday, January 29, 2024 and also one hour prior to services on Tuesday, both at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Metamora.
