Bobby Neal Roe, 74, of Washington, IL, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024, surrounded by his family.
Bobby was born on July 6, 1950, in Henderson, TN. He was a graduate of Washington Community High School. Surviving are his daughters, Sarah Moore and Andrea Miller; son, Cody Roe; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild; two brothers, Mike Roe and Kevin Thieme; and one sister, Lana Overturf. His parents, one brother, Ronnie Roe, and his wife, Helen Packard, all preceded him in death.
Bobby's talents in machinery led him to work on the railroads, in machine shops, and in construction. He worked for Mitsubishi Motors as an assistant foreman until his retirement. Later, his passion for antiques and vintage collectibles led to years spent with his brother Mike at the Rutledge Flea Market in Missouri.
Bobby was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. He was known for providing advice on living life to the fullest, how to manage your money, and how to fix just about anything. He was an avid Harley Davidson motorcycle owner, a fan of Blues music, and loved to tell stories about his travels across America.
While there will be no public services, Bobby's family will privately celebrate his life. His family invites you to share your favorite stories and memories of Bobby to honor his memory.
