She was born on June 7, 1931, in Decatur, Illinois, to Donald and Mildred Biggers Caldwell. She married Harold Pedigo 75 years ago on March 30, 1950, in Creve Coeur, Illinois. Harold passed away on March 21, 2026. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Donald L. Caldwell Jr. and Rolland D. Caldwell, and her sister, Darlene Chaplin.

Surviving are their four children: Sharon (Gary) Carroll of Hopedale, Illinois; Steven (Karen) Pedigo of Rockford, Illinois; Connie (John) Haase of Peoria, Illinois; and David (Becky) Pedigo of Ripon, Wisconsin. She also leaves behind 15 cherished grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren. One sister, Barbara C. Knaak, of Foley, Alabama, also survives.

She graduated from East Peoria High School in 1949. She spent several years at Caterpillar Tractor Company, then enjoyed working at Thompson’s grocery store in Sunnyland. In 1970, she began a new chapter at Illinois Central College’s computer center, where she worked happily until her retirement in 1990.

She treasured her faith and loved spending time with her family and friends; Beverly found joy in sewing, needlework, and traveling.

Beverly’s family is truly grateful for the wonderful care and support they've been fortunate to receive from the caring staff at Snyder Village over the past seven years. They deeply appreciate the kindness shown to them.
